Casa del Gelso, is the second of four farmhouses inside the farm holidays in Sicily “Agricontura Paparoni” inside a valley almost intact, the heart of the best citrus production of Northern Sicily, three kilometers from the Tyrrhenian Sea, at the foot of the Nebrodi national park.
Casa del Gelso, accommodates up to 4 people, is located on the first floor of a two story house, with a private terrace, overlooking the citrus and the surrounding hills.

The farm is located about 3km from the sea and 9 km from the center of Capo d’Orlando and can be the starting point for many excursions, from the Aeolian Islands to the most fascinating cities of art, from the coast to the trails of the Nebrodi national park.

Le parfum des citrons est un grand atout..ça sent bon le citron, un parfum que les moustiques en particulier n’aiment pas ;-). Le personnel est très accueillant et sympathique. Grande terrace, c’est fleurit, la piscine est très agréable. Le wifi fonctionne bien dans la maison. On se sent à la campagne, c’est très relaxant.

Wir hatten einen Großteil der Anlage – vor allem den Pool – eine Woche für uns! Emilio ist sehr aufmerksam, freundlich, herzlich und spricht mehrere Sprachen! Wir bekamen täglich frische Orangen und Zitronen aus dem eigenen Anbau!

De hele entourage is echt super ydilisch, vooral de citroen bomen en het vele groen en bloemen om het huis. Ook het zwembad was heerlijk en alles goed onderhouden door Emilio. Een heerlijke oudere man die zowel in het Duits als Italiaans je te woord staat

Wspaniała lokalizacja, przytulny domek wewnątrz gaju cytrusowego, niemal prywatny (bo tylko dla grzech domków) czysty basen, wielki, zacieniony taras, dużo udogodnień (pralka, zmywarka) i przemiła obsługa! Ciao, Emilio!

Het huis was rustig gelegen tussen de citroenbomen en had een heerlijk zwembad. Het personeel, met name Emilio, zorgde dat het ons aan niets ontbrak. Capo d’Orlando met zijn strand en restaurants ligt op 20 minuten rijden. Mooie plaatsen zoals Cefalu en Palermo, zijn vandaar uit goed te bereizen.

Alles ! Besonders Emilio , der Hausmeister, super netter Typ der sehr gut Deutsch spricht.
Die Lage ist gut , man braucht auf jeden Fall ein Auto. Die Häuser und das Grundstück sind in einem Top Zustand. Wir haben mehrere dort getroffen die schon des öfteren da waren.

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié notre séjour en Sicile. Nous avons loué les 2 appartements de la même maison (une famille 2 adultes/2 adolescents à l’étage et une famille 2 adultes/3 enfants au rez-de-chaussée).
Les appartements étaient agréables, climatisés. L’agencement de l’appartement du bas était particulièrement intéressant et adaptée pour une famille avec 3 enfants.
Nous avons beaucoup aimé la terrasse, et les petits coins aménagés dans le jardin avec des tables et des chaises. Les enfants ont adoré la piscine qui était de bonne taille et où notre fille de 7 ans avait pied (même hauteur d’eau partout).
La vue au milieu des oliviers et des citronniers sur les collines environnantes était magnifique.
Nous avons aussi apprécié le barbecue, les parasols, le mobilier qui était de bonne qualité à l’intérieur comme à l’extérieur (un bémol peut-être si on a besoin d’utiliser les couchages des canapés dans l’appartement du 1er étage).
L’accueil à notre arrivée (pourtant tardive dans la soirée) était chaleureux et à chaque fois que nous avons eu besoin de quelque-chose, le propriétaire ou le gardien a répondu à nos attentes rapidement.
Enfin la localisation géographique permet de visiter le tiers Nord-Est de la Sicile : Etna, Taormina, Iles éoliennes (notamment Panarea, Stromboli et Vulcano), Palerme, Cefalu (superbe ville et plage de sable), Tindari, parc du Nebrodi… Région magnifique, vacances formidables !

We had a mixed group of 11 adult and this wonderful place with its quientness and views has been perfect for us. We rented 3 houses (Casa Ulivi, Casa Gelso and Casa Ciliegio), the houses has everything you need. Perfectly suited for larger groups but also families with small kids. Federico and Ciro are very nice and helpful, if wanted.
